Summary: | The present research work focuses on the identification and analysis of the background to its market share of the engineering sector in the city of Cali, whereas even when it has gained or lost ground. The above represents the starting point for the design of a proposed plan of strategic direction that will allow not only the continuous improvement, but align the mission, vision and goals with the goals of the organization. In the present work, verbal and physical contact with employees, suppliers, clients and senior management, with the purpose of knowing the horizon of the Organization, from working conditions to progress in the strengthening of the company was taken into account. Methodologically, the work was developed in qualitative, applying models of documentary research, and Porter's 5 forces analysis SWOT, which was achieved to have a more detailed overview of the sector and the company. Finally, there is a proposal for implementation of a plan of action by business unit; each with its respective dimension and strategy, focused on strengthening and alignment with the goals of the Organization. |
