Summary:The current situation in education and even more in the area of religious education at school calls for rethinking the method and the way in which education is being transmitted and the way in which the child is approaching the religious world (a). The problem lies in the lack of implementation of strategies that facilitate the motivation, knowledge and appreciation of the religious dimension and this in relation to faith, life and culture. School religious education ensures active and inclusive participation in training-educational knowledge. This article aims to encourage children (as) to live together, tolerance, solidarity and above all respect for the other and their beliefs in GOD through the teaching of school religious education, and in turn understand and learn to know the different concepts, to critically assume the reality that one has of GOD, that all these concepts no matter what religion is, lead to the same destiny which is love for himself and for others. It is also proposed to distinguish between the concept and the experience of Catechesis and School Religious Education in order to make the second an area that truly contributes to the integral training of students
