description	La parálisis cerebral es un grupo de trastornos del desarrollo del movimiento y la postura que limitan la participación de los niños y niñas en las actividades de la vida diaria, por tal motivo ellos requieren cuidados personales por sus padres, quienes viven cambios en diferentes áreas de sus vidas, iniciando con la personal, social, laboral y familiar; todo esto empieza desde el instante en que reciben el diagnóstico médico y durante todo el crecimiento del hijo. En medio del proceso, la ansiedad de los padres es el síntoma que provoca alteración del sueño, baja autoestima, estrés y trastornos musculares, provocando de cierto modo una calidad de vida baja. Objetivo: Realizar una búsqueda de artículos científicos, con énfasis en la alteración de salud mental y calidad de vida de los padres y cuidadores de niños diagnosticados con parálisis cerebral. Metodología: Metodológicamente se realizó una búsqueda bibliográfica no sistemática en diferentes bases de datos: Google Scholar, PubMed, Dialnet, Scopus y Scielo. Resultados: Los resultados son iguales en la mayoría de los estudios, ya que confirman que el impacto sobre la salud física y mental de los cuidadores es fundamentalmente negativo, al mostrar cambios significativos relacionados con la salud; la literatura identifico que en gran parte son de tipo emocional, como el estrés psicológico, estado de ánimo bajo, depresión, pérdida de autonomía, sentimiento de culpa y frustración. Conclusión: Finalmente, se concluye que los niños con parálisis cerebral condicionan a los cuidadores a que experimente cambios alteran su salud, manifestándose con síntomas de ansiedad, depresión, alteraciones de sueño, estrés y trastornos musculoesqueléticos, todo esto provoca que modifiquen su entorno y necesidades para brindarle un buen cuidado y crianza a su hijo.

In the middle of the process, parental anxiety is the symptom that causes sleep, low self-esteem, stress and muscle disorders, causing a low quality of life in a certain way. Target: Perform a search for scientific articles, with an emphasis on the perception of mental health and quality of life of parents and caregivers of children diagnosed with cerebral palsy.
