Description
Summary:The present narrative review aims to analyze the available updated information that explains the biomechanical risk factors for músculoskeletal disorders that occur in the population who work as musicians. To this end, a literature review process was conducted, retrieving articles from different databases such as Science Direct, Scopus, Medline, Cihnal and Pubmed in the period 2017-2022. The analysis yielded 378 records, of which 25 were chosen as they adequately met the inclusion criteria, for further theoretical examination. The results show the importance of good posture in musical practice with instruments. Also, the longer the practice time, the greater the probability of the appearance of músculoskeletal disorders and finally, that certain musical instruments may represent a greater risk of suffering músculoskeletal disorders.
