| Summary: | Analyzing the wage increase in Colombia based on the CPI, we can identify how these simple variables affect the Colombians´s economy, since the article shows the impact of the IPC on the purchasing power of Colombians, consequently, on the quality of Life, this one presents a brief history since the payment of the minimum wage was granted for the first time in the world and for the first time implemented in Colombia starting from a base of 2 pesos. As results, a high impact on the macroeconomic variables that the government makes to calculate the minimum wage is evidenced, demonstrating that a percentage increase of inflation per plus of the percentage increase of the minimum wage has repercussions in the loss of capacity of purchase of the Colombians. |
