Summary:He attention, the care and the education in the early years of life, have been promoted as critical by recent discoveries of the extraordinary potential of human beings during childhood. Therefore, it is necessary to define clear intentions towards the current policy of childhood in Colombia, to promote free exercise of reflection within the programs as well as criticism on the care plans for children in the municipalities, the ten year plan, among others. It is sought to promote graduates who are agents of social change, capable of fostering contexts in which the rights of children are respected and ensured, in order to improve the quality and coverage of education and to contribute to the achievement of the harmonious development of children, their families and the wider community.
