El presente trabajo tuvo como finalidad elaborar una guía orientadora para la creación de empresas de interventoría en el sector privado de la construcción en Colombia. Se empleó el enfoque cualitativo de alcance descriptivo-propositivo, en la cual se sistematizó información normativa, técnica y estratégica para ofrecer una narrativa útil a actores interesados en estructurar formalmente este tipo de propuestas. El estudio se basó en la revisión documental detallada de fuentes jurídicas, académicas y de casos de emprendimiento, lo que permitió caracterizar la interventoría como una práctica especializada, analizar los requerimientos legales para su ejercicio, y plantear estrategias de posicionamiento y comunicación con propósito. Asimismo, se identifican los desafíos comunes que enfrentan los nuevos emprendedores del sector, especialmente en contextos donde la interventoría no es obligatoria, pero resulta necesaria para asegurar la calidad y transparencia en la ejecución de proyectos. La guía propuesta responde a los objetivos de orientar, prevenir errores comunes y fortalecer las capacidades de quienes desean emprender con criterio técnico y responsabilidad ética. Este documento busca aportar a la formalización del ejercicio profesional, generar valor institucional y contribuir al mejoramiento del control contractual en el ámbito privado, desde una perspectiva humanizada y aplicada. |

A qualitative, descriptive-propositional approach was used, systematizing regulatory, technical, and strategic information to offer a useful narrative to stakeholders interested in formally structuring this type of proposal. The study was based on a detailed documentary review of legal, academic, and entrepreneurial case studies. This allowed for the characterization of supervision as a specialized practice, the analysis of legal requirements for its practice, and the development of purposeful positioning and communication strategies. It also identifies common challenges faced by new entrepreneurs in the sector, especially in contexts where supervision is not mandatory but is necessary to ensure quality and transparency in project execution. The proposed guide serves the objectives of providing guidance, preventing common errors, and strengthening the capacities of those seeking to undertake projects with technical judgment and ethical responsibility.
