En Colombia el fenómeno del ciberacoso ha sido poco estudiado, por lo que el objetivo del presente estudio fue analizar y describir la incidencia del acoso a través de las nuevas tecnologías de la información y la comunicación, examinando las posibles diferencias que se pueden presentar respecto al grado educativo. La muestra estuvo constituida por 1080 estudiantes adolescentes de cuatro colegios de Bucaramanga (Colombia) y su zona metropolitana (hombres N = 437, mujeres N = 643). Los resultados indicaron que el 17.4% y el 21.8% (por medio del celular y del internet, respectivamente) de los participantes hansido víctimas de ciberacoso por lo menos en una ocasión, en un lapso de tiempo menor o igual a 1 mes, en gran parte de los casos. Además, los resultados indicaron que, en lo que respecta al teléfono celular, no se encontraron diferencias significativas en la presentación del ciberacoso según los grados educativos estudiados, mientras que, en cuanto a internet, las únicas diferencias encontradas tienen que ver con el hostigamiento en el grado sexto y la violación de la intimidad en el grado décimo.

In Colombia, the phenomenon of cyberbullying has been little studied at the present time, so the objective of this study was to analyze and describe the incidence of cyberbullying through the new technologies of information and communication, examining the possible differences that may arise regarding the educational grade. The sample consisted of 1080 adolescent students from four schools in Bucaramanga and its metropolitan area (Colombia) (boys N = 437, girls N = 643). The results indicated that 17.4% and 21.8% (through the cell phone and internet, respectively) of the participants have been victims of cyberbullying at least once, in a time less than or equal to 1 month, for most victims.
