Summary:Th is paper publishes the results obtained from the design of polymer concrete (PC) by the method of free spaces, for which it was used a polyester resin as a erephthalic binder, ceramic powder and blast furnace slag as fi llers and River sand and granite, as aggregates. With the resin content was determined the infl uence on the mechanical and physical properties of the material by analyzing a parameter called fi ller mass ratio / mass-resin (Mf/MR), which can be considered as equivalent to the relationship water / cement of the Portland cement concrete. The mechanical and physical properties increased with the ratio (Mf/MR), increase.
