Summary:This investigative work allows to describe the factors that influence the motivation of the students in the physical education classes of the educational institution faith and joy of the municipality of Bello, through a conceptual tracing of where they are taken Different theories and previous studies on the subject. Similarly, the methodological actions employed by the teacher in the physical education class are identified to encourage the motivation of the students, This in order to know if these have some kind of impact on the participation of the students in the sessions. On the other hand, the research aims to describe the intrinsic and extrinsic motivations of the students at the time of the class development and finally identify the demotivations of the students in the physical Education class sessions.The methodology that was implemented was quantitative with a descriptive approach and where the questionnaire of motivation in the physical Education (CMEF) was executed. In the institution's 10th grade students.In the results it is within the most relevant that two-thirds of the students surveyed say that intrinsic motivation is an important factor when participating in the physical Education class. And in the conclusions it is achieved to know that the motivations intrinsic and extrinsic are factors that in some way or another interfere in the participation of the students in the physical education classes of the aforementioned institution
