Summary: | The project carried out in the company Alexander Muebles, had as main objective the reduction of the costs generated from the physical taking of the inventories of the line chairs, where stood out the references of original and ecological salsa chairs, eternal chair with and without arm, of the Rimax brand. The planning and execution of the project is based on the Six Sigma philosophy and the DMAIC methodology, which helped us to build the scope and goal of the project from the first stage of the definition, taking into account the inventory process of Alexander Muebles. In the Measure stage, we created a format that fulfilled all the necessary fields for the collection of information and in this way to be able to take an objective control over the inventory process that takes place in the company, since with the obtained data we define the scope, sustainability and reliability of the process to be treated. Subsequently, with the data obtained and with analysis tools such as the Ishikawa diagram, the 5 because, matrix of cause effect, we were able to determine the causes of the problem posed, in order to then be able to propose a standardized system for carrying out the orders, avoiding the increase in unnecessary inventory, in addition to making a comparison between the before and after the data used during the project. Due to the entire process carried out in the company Alexander Muebles, the decision was made to continue using formats that guarantee control of internal processes that correspond to the physical taking of the inventory, in addition to developing reports that show the impact of the execution of the draft. |
