Aproximaciones conceptuales a la neuroeconomía y la toma de decisiones cerebrales

Neuroeconomics is a discipline of recent development, and it has been having important Improvements in recent years. This article aims to make a review revision of the main aspects that have taken this discipline to develop and obtain an academic and media success achieved during last years, such as, a brief historical review of those theories that gave rise to this discipline, the main used research methods, and how they have developed throughout history, and those authors that with the help of their experiments have challenged traditional economic theories; thus opening the forecast to new explanation about the economic decision making. Finally, this review is looking for analyzing how psychology, from its knowledge, could contribute to research and theoretical improvements of this field, and how could some fields of study be broaden to contribute to Colombian context and to contemporary reality.
