Crecimiento de la inversión extranjera directa en la ciudad de Medellín, Colombia, entre 2016 a 2019

The objective of this project is to examine and analyze the behavior the foreign direct investment in Medellin city, Colombia, between 2016 to 2019, through governments entities and international cooperation reports; identifying some strategies that the city adopted for the strengthening and attraction of foreign investors. One important factor in the moment of analyzing the payment balance of a country. As a result, we mainly found that the foreign direct investment is a representative factor in the inversion tables in Latin America, observing an important percent in the inversion of Colombia compared to other countries of the region. Similarly, it stands out an important paper that the city of Medellin rules in the percent statistics in Colombia´s inversion, evidencing the competitive strengths which the city has in relation of human talent, Access to competitive infrastructure, vial communications advantage as the 4G roads and the existence of an International Cooperation Agency in charge of promoting and facilitating the relations of international cooperation
