Summary: | Every day the number of buildings that do not meet the criteria to generate a good management of the natural environment increases, on the contrary, they affect it without thinking about the consequences that they may have in the future, whether they are environmental, economic or social. Today's architects focus on making the most innovative design, with the most scarce and expensive materials, without being aware of the great damage that is being caused, often unnecessarily, only by luxury. For this reason, the research topic is based on implementing strategies in the use of materials, for the construction of sustainable buildings, in order to establish the efficient use of resources, in relation to the mitigation of environmental impact, and thus contribute to the protection of the environment. This research proposal seeks to propose design strategies so that the air that has been affected by the different pollutants in the municipality of Sabaneta does not affect the interior of the buildings, taking into account that the different architectural typologies that already exist do not have the characteristics to be sustainable. Therefore, it is proposed to create a facade that mitigates pollution and represents comfort for people inside the different spaces. There are two important aspects to focus on: (1) How can indoor pollution problems be reduced through exterior improvement (facades) and (2) how sustainable applications implemented in existing typologies could generate important changes in the indoor air of buildings and in the health of the inhabitants |
