Description
Summary:This investigation originates from identifying the aspects that have been influenced the construction of the third-grade children’s literacy, from the Independence Elementary School, located at the commune 13 (Medellin- Antioquia), through negatives and positives experiences obtained in environments like family, society and school. Therefore, it was necessary to perform some observations and interviews to teachers, parents, and students. Thus, this tools determined that the family, school and society are key factors that join to develop linguistic abilities- talk, listen, read, write- in the child. This implies that pedagogical practices that are developed in schools, should be immersed in the context and subject to student’s interests and necessities, in order to achieve a significant teaching-learning that allows the student to transform their reality and generate new possibilities in favor of a social transformation.
