Description
Summary:Objective: to carry out a review of the literature with more scientific evidence and in this way to know what are the various scales or instruments that are used to evaluate the quality of life in health and the aerobic capacity of patients with ERC undergoing hemodialysis treatment. Methodology: a broad search was carried out in the different databases (pub med and google academic) of books and digital journals (science direct, scielo and elselvier) in order to identify the various scales or instruments that are used to evaluate health quality of life and aerobic capacity of ERC patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment. the search selection was carried out according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results: within this research we have as a result that there are a great variety of scales to assess quality of life, within which are the sf-12, sf-36, kdqol 36, whoqol bref and whoqol old, being the most used the sf-36 and kdqol 36; and in terms of aerobic capacity, only one test was found, which is found with different names, but its execution and purpose is the same, within these are: the 6- minute walk test, 6-minute walk test (pc6m ) and the 6mwt test, which, according to our findings, is the only test to evaluate aerobic capacity in ERC patients on hemodialysis. Comments: according to the results obtained, we believe that it is necessary to expand the investigations that provide information on the evaluation of these patients with regard to aerobic capacity and thus have other options when conducting an evaluation of these patients.
