Summary: | Medellin is recognized as an excellent destination for health tourism because it has quality in human talent, safety in performing medical-surgical procedures, low costs and provides results to the satisfaction of customers, thus achieving international recognition. It also has comparative advantages that are reflected in its extensive portfolios of complementary services to plastic and cosmetic surgeries such as (public transport, lodging, food, transportation in ambulance, aesthetic and post-operative centers, spa and others). The standardization of the processes carried out in the different health providers has propelled the specialization of the services offered in the different clinics and hospitals located in the city of Medellín. In the present monograph, the impact and dynamism of the economy of the city of Medellín will be announced, thanks to the exponential growth of the health sector and the rise of plastic and cosmetic surgeries |
