Summary: | This research work is focused on motor skills as a means of corporal expression, in this case specific dance. Born from a project proposed by the students of the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education at the University of San Buenaventura, in search of enhancing gross motor skills through dance. As a general objective we propose to analyze the incidence of dance in the acquisition of skills of the children of Transition A (5 to 6 years old) of the Educational Institution of the Superior Normal School of Medellin, from which the specifics will subsequently be transferred. First of these is to identify the benefits of dance in the motor skills of children, as the second objective is to track the progress in acquiring children's motor skills through the medium of dance. an unstructured observation that allows us to systematize economic data and finally reflect on the inclusion of dance within the curricular bases of preschool education. To achieve the expected results through the qualitative approach, also resulted in research stories such as semi-structured interview and participant observation, thanks to all the resources implemented, it was possible to obtain the expected results and prove that dance is an enhancer of the gross motor skills of children. |
