Description
Summary:The ADHD is defined as a certain degree of attention deficit and/or hyperactivity-impulsivity that is inconsistent in relation with the level of development of the child and is present before the seven years of age. ADHD can occur together with other associated psychiatric disorders (comorbidity) such as reading difficulties (LD) and substance use disorder (SUD). Having in mind that the brain works with electrical stimuli that brings and carry information to be able to develop different daily activities, this information can be transmitted through neurons since they can communicate with each other. ADHD is also known as a behavioral syndrome of neurobiological origin, its characterized by manifestations of inattention and hyperactivity being therefore an alteration of neurodevelopment it is characterized by the immaturity of some neuronal cores that are involved in the prefrontal cortex, the corpus callosum, the basal ganglia and the anterior cingulate which is responsible for the affective managment and the managment of emotions
