La recolección de la información, se hizo a través de congresos latinoamericanos, en los que se versa sobre la conducta suicida, consideramos que estos espacios de difusión de la información sirven para que investigadores y profesionales de la salud intercambien hallazgos, e inquietudes sobre el tema. El método que seguimos estado del arte, que consiste en “ir tras las huellas” del tema que se pretende investigar, permite identificar cómo ha sido tratado el tema, cómo se encuentra en el momento de realizar la propuesta de investigación y cuáles son las tendencias. Las conclusiones apuntan al limitado acceso de la información, al ahínco en los aspectos causales de la conducta suicida y a la emergencia de aportes provenientes de modelos fenoménicos

Its importance lies in the ignorance on the advances it brings over the suicidal conduct in the regional way, and in the country. The compilation of the information, it was done across, Latin - American congresses, in which one turns on the suicidal conduct, we think that this spaces of diffusion of the information serve in order that investigators and professionals of the health exchange finds, and worries on the topic. The method that we remains been of state of the art which consist in “of going after the traces” of the topic that is tried to investigate, allows to identify how it has been agreement to the topic, how is in the moment to realize the offer of investigation, and which are the trends.
