Summary:The purpose of this article is to address the problem of the effects of the recent pronouncement issued by the Colombian Constitutional Court, in the (sentence T-544 of 2017), which requires the regulation of the right to a death worthy of children and Teenagers, being Colombia the first country in the Americas to allow this kind of procedure in relation to minors. To this end, the background of the right to die with dignity for end-stage patients will be studied in the case of children and adolescents. The legal norms existing in Colombia on the right to die with dignity will also be analyzed to determine the possibility of doing this practice in children and adolescents; and finally, the constitutional jurisprudence will be examined in relation to the subject in question
