Description
Summary:This research aims to present strategies and methods for the production of binaural audio focused on audiovisual and television media, which can be easily used, not only by audio experts but also by audiovisual people such as directors, producers and other members of the media that are part of the entire work team within the production. For this purpose, one of the methods was to develop a manual of strategies for audiovisual production using binaural audio as a component in the narrative, in addition to the exploration of alternative binaural audio capture methods based on the resources available by audiovisual producers and local channels. Lavalier or lapel-type microphones were used as an alternative recording method, emulating the human eardrums and thus achieve binaural perception for audiovisual productions. Listening tests were carried out to compare this alternative method with the use of a Dummy Head (binaural head).
