Los objetivos del plan eran mejorar la gestión del suministro, mejorar los plazos de entrega y fortalecer las relaciones con los proveedores. También se buscaba reducir los costes de garantías y devoluciones. Inicialmente, era evidente que los procesos presentaban algunos problemas. Por ejemplo, las entregas se retrasaban con frecuencia, había muchos productos defectuosos y no existían acuerdos escritos con los proveedores de muebles y pintura. Para solucionar estos problemas, se empleó un método que incluía análisis cuantitativo y cualitativo, el estudio de documentos relevantes, conversaciones con el personal interno y la creación y ejecución de un plan. Los resultados fueron positivos. Por ejemplo, los plazos de entrega se redujeron hasta en un 40% de media y el número de devoluciones se redujo considerablemente en tan solo dos meses. Esto demostró que la calidad y la fiabilidad del stock de los proveedores habían mejorado considerablemente. La formalización de contratos con proveedores y profesorado también contribuyó significativamente a mejorar el control y el seguimiento de los procesos, lo que se tradujo en clientes más satisfechos y mayores beneficios para la empresa. Este plan estratégico de abastecimiento ha sido una herramienta clave para mejorar la cadena de abastecimiento de mueblerías ByM, fortaleciendo su sostenibilidad, rentabilidad y competitividad en el mercado.The main focus of this thesis is the creation and implementation of a management plan for ByM furniture stores. The plan's objectives will be to improve manager management, improve business locations, and strengthen relationships with suppliers. This will also reduce the cost of warranties and returns. Initially, it was evident that the processes presented some problems. For example, items are frequently returned, there are many defective products, and there are no written references to the sources of furniture and paint. To address these issues, a method was used that included quantitative and qualitative analysis, the review of relevant documents, discussions with internal staff, and the creation and execution of a plan. The results were positive. For example, delivery times will be reduced by up to 40% on average, and the number of returns will be significantly reduced by just one meter. It was shown that the quality and reliability of the stock tested had improved considerably. The formalization of contracts with renowned professors and professionals also significantly contributed to improving process control and consistency, which translates into more satisfied customers and greater profits for the company.
