Description
Summary:The text corresponds to a critical refl ection on a series of meta-theories that have predominated in social sciences and that have determined some of the theoretical models that have been used for the study of public space. It starts with the assumption that this study has been historically neglected by the Academy because of the assumptions based on the platonic paradigm of the interior. It is indicated, in addition, that only with consequent perspectives named by Foucault as “thought of outside” the issue of public space can be studied positively, as well as the possibility of understanding the social dynamic that it involves.
