Summary: | When a language is taught, we must take into account all the skills for the purpose of reaching an integral learning of this one. But, in the case of the English language we found that for one side when it is taught, the intercultural competence is laid aside and there is more emphasis on other competences, on the other hand, the intercultural competence is taken into account but focusing on one country like is the case of the United States. It is for that reason that the purpose of this research is to show how through the comparative analysis between songs and literary works in English and Spanish in the light of thematology, we can see how our cultural contextiv (the Spanish –speaking Caribbean) gets closer to an anglophone cultural context, in the framework of the intercultural relation. |
