Summary: | problem raised in this article is related to the objections made by various sectors to the Special Jurisdiction for Peace (JEP), especially with regard to compliance with international human rights standards, in the area of victims' right to justice. In this sense, the question that guides the work presented for consideration is: Does the Special Jurisdiction for Peace comply with international human rights standards regarding victims' right to justice? To answer this question, the following objectives are proposed: i) to examine the guarantees provided by the JEP for the protection of victims' right to justice; ii) to specify the parameters established in the IACHR to preserve victims' right to justice in transition processes; and iii) to establish the degree of correspondence between the JEP and the IACHR regarding victims' right to justice. This article uses the methodology of qualitative research with a hermeneutic approach, using documentary traceability using books, articles, magazines, digital media, among others, as sources, which are related to the object of study and collect the contributions made from the doctrine, jurisprudence and international human rights instruments |
