Summary:This article's main objective is to understand the senses that are linked to the practice of body suspension from a case study of a person who makes it herself and others suspended. The approach used is qualitative, the participant is male, is 32 years old. The instruments used were: semi-structured interview, participant observation, completion of sentences, images and photos. As a result, it was observed that the participant through experiential cycles that has had throughout his life are reflected in the experiences, needs and meanings that are around the suspension. This article allows completion of the suspension is linked to five senses, balance, learning, innovation, authenticity and freedom as these are what allowed the participant to reach this practice, but also allow these senses have new life experiences.
