Many of the biological factors that affect the risk of drugs dependence apparently acts through a general outer factor. On the other hand, other genetic factors seem to be specific to certain disorders. If know for sure which are these tendency factors, they could develop testing to detect them and plans of intervention o prevention to reduce the possibilities that people fall into this type of addictions.Este artículo es una revisión bibliográfica sobre la influencia de factores genéticos en la dependencia a sustancias psicoactivas estimulantes. Muchos de los factores biológicos que afectan el riesgo de dependencia de drogas aparentemente actúan a través de un factor general externo. Por otro lado, otros factores genéticos parecen ser específicos a ciertos desórdenes.
