Such difficulties are analyzed through this work, especially in the area of the electromagnetism learning process with technology and university students. The research has a qualitative approach and a questionnaire was applied to 94 students in order to get suitable results. According to this, most of students (no matter how many times they had taken the course) have problems to understand the concepts related to the source of the magnetic field.Los estudios en el campo de la Didáctica de la Física que se han desarrollado en los últimos años dan cuenta de la importancia de investigar las problemáticas de enseñanza y aprendizaje de los conceptos científicos fundamentales, tanto a nivel de secundaria, como universitario. El propósito de la presente investigación es analizar las dificultades en el aprendizaje de los conceptos fundamentales del electromagnetismo en estudiantes de nivel Tecnológicoy Universitario. La investigación se inscribe en un enfoque cualitativo, los datos fueron obtenidos a partir de la aplicación de un cuestionario a 94 estudiantes.
