Este estudio analiza las herramientas de control parental y las nuevas tecnologías implementadas para mejorar su eficacia. La problemática central radica en la falta de conciencia sobre el uso excesivo de dispositivos y la escasa implementación de herramientas de control parental. La metodología incluyó una revisión sistemática de la literatura, la cual permitió encontrar y documentar las herramientas de control parental más utilizadas, y así encontrar las falencias que tienen al momento de desarrollarlas y como estas aplican las nuevas tecnologías. Los resultados revelaron deficiencias en las herramientas actuales, pero destacaron el potencial de la inteligencia artificial para mejorar la precisión y efectividad del control de contenidos. Se concluye que la integración de tecnologías avanzadas puede optimizar la protección de los menores en entornos digitales, subrayando la importancia de aumentar la conciencia y la adopción de estas herramientas por parte de padres y educadores.In the digital age, the excessive use of mobile devices by children and adolescents has raised concerns due to exposure to inappropriate content. This study analyzes parental control tools and new technologies implemented to improve their effectiveness. The central problem lies in the lack of awareness about the excessive use of devices and the poor implementation of parental control tools. The methodology included a systematic review of the literature, which allowed us to find and document the most used parental control tools, and thus find the shortcomings they have when developing them and how they apply new technologies. The results revealed shortcomings in current tools but highlighted the potential of artificial intelligence to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of content control.
