Finally, the article shows the prevalence that the neoclassic theory has gained in Economics, which is linked to a pragmatic method, a highly formalized language and an ability to incorporate contributions from other schools of economic thoughtEl presente artículo presenta al lector de manera esquemática los principales debates y desarrollos de la escuela económica neoclásica durante las últimas décadas. Para esto, considera las discusiones en el campo metodológico, microeconómico y macroeconómico, como conductores naturales de los avances en la disciplina.
