For that purpose, the strategy proposed by the UNDPabout territorial productive profiles, was used. This allows constructing aninformative panorama of the regions. From the obtained results it is concludedthat the town presents some problems to intervene such as: shortage of statisticinformation, forced displacement, civil security, pregnancy in teenagers and lowdynamic and impact of the agro-industrial sector in the town.Este documento tiene como finalidad realizar un análisis descriptivo del perfil socioeconómico del corregimiento de Arabia, en el municipio de Pereira, al año 2015, con base en sus principales indicadores socioeconómicos. Para tal fin, se aplicó la metodología propuesta por el PNUD sobre Perfiles Productivos Territoriales, que permite construir un panorama informativo de las regiones.
