This discussion raises two considerations structuring the architectural proposals: building the boundary and expanding the interior.En este texto se describe la propuesta presentada al concurso para la nueva Casa de la Hermandad de los Gitanos, en Sevilla (España). Esta propuesta parte del reconocimiento del límite como tensión entre el adentro y el afuera, que determinan su configuración espacial y formal. En la idea proyectual, las particularidades del solar presentan discontinuidades en la tensión mencionada, entre los edificios y la ciudad, con la presencia de una muralla que contiene el espacio externo y los muros gruesos de la iglesia, los cuales acentúan el control del espacio interno.
