The study has also allowed us to characterize the communication labor and obtain important information to design the communication audit model, in order to evaluate its effectiveness and contribution to organizational developmentEste artículo tiene como objetivo dar a conocer los avances del proyecto de investigación “Diseño de un modelo de auditoría de comunicación organizacional para las universidades privadas de los departamentos del Quindío y Risaralda”. El proceso metodológico enmarcó la investigación dentro del enfoque cualitativo e hizo uso de la entrevista semiestructurada como herramienta para la recolección de información en las universidades privadas de los departamentos de Quindío y Risaralda.
