Para tal finalidad, se desarrolla un diagnóstico del estado actual de la prestación del servicio de asistencia técnica agropecuaria en la Secretaría de Desarrollo Rural, asimismo se identifican los puntos críticos en los procesos relacionados con la prestación en el servicio, se desarrolla un cuadro de mando integral (Balanced scorecard) como metodología de trazabilidad y por último se propone como plan de mejoramiento alternativas de sistematización y registro de información a través del uso y apropiación de la Tecnología de la Información. El desarrollo metodológico se ejecutará bajo un tipo de investigación de corte exploratorio, a su vez que descriptivo por cuanto la información suministrada es enteramente cuantitativa. Generando como resultado un cuadro de mando integral como metodología de trazabilidad sobre las recomendaciones técnicas dadas por parte del personal de Secretaría de Desarrollo Rural. / The purpose of this research work is to execute a Proposal for the improvement of the agricultural technical assistance process in the rural development and environmental management secretariat of the mayor's office of the municipality of Pereira. For this purpose, a diagnosis of the current state of the provision of agricultural technical assistance service in the Secretariat of Rural Development is developed, critical points in the processes related to the provision of the service are also identified, a control panel is developed integral (Balanced scorecard) as a traceability methodology and finally, alternatives for systematization and registration of information through the use and appropriation of Information Technology are proposed as an improvement plan. The methodological development will be carried out under an exploratory type of research, which is also descriptive in that the information provided is entirely quantitative.
