Last year three teachers compared the concepts of the ideal journalist that Kapuscinski defended with the teacher practices and the “ supposed” that some people had about the formation of the journalists in Pereira, the present paper is derived from this work.Ryzsard Kapuscinski era uno de los principales periodistas y maestros de esta actividad. Su reciente desaparición deja un vacío muy grande en los docentes y periodistas en ejercicio porque siempre fue un testigo del dolor humano y crítico de la injusticia social ejercida por los poderosos.
