Se realizó desde la psicología social y la teoría Queer con un método cualitativo. Se llevaron a cabo entrevistas semiestructuradas, grupos focales y revisión documental. Se evidenciaron actitudes favorables en siete docentes y actitudes desfavorables en cuatro. Ambos tipos de actitudes se vieron legitimadas por una apelación al rol del docente, a la Ley, los Derechos Humanos, el saber de la psicología y por valoraciones morales. Se encontraron formas de prejuicio sutil en la mayoría de docentes, así tuviesen actitudes favorables. Se hallaron formas de interpelación de la matriz heterosexual como intervenciones pedagógicas en temas de sexualidad y género y el uso de uniforme unisex. Se concluye que, a pesar de que el prejuicio manifiesto hacia los estudiantes LGBTI se identifica en pocos docentes, persisten prejuicios sutiles en la mayoría de ellos, lo que influye sobre su percepción de la discriminación y el acoso escolar hacia los estudiantes.\ Abstract: This paper aims to recognize the ways of legitimating the heterosexual matrix through unfavorable attitudes of teachers towards their students, due to sexual and gender diversity, in a high school in Pereira, Colombia. This study was realized from social psychology and Queer theory using qualitative methods. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews, focus groups and documentary review. The findings revealed that seven teachers expressed favorable attitudes, while four exhibited unfavorable attitudes. Both these attitudes were legitimated by invoking the teacher’s role, the Law, Human Rights and psychological knowledge. They also legitimated their attitudes with moral assessments. Subtle prejudices were identified in the majority of the teachers even though some of them showed favorable attitudes. Some teachers referred pedagogical interventions on sexuality and gender that challenged the heterosexual matrix. The usage of a unisex uniform was also considered as a challenge. In conclusion, despite manifest prejudice towards LGBTI students is not very common, there is subtle prejudice that affects the teachers’ perception of discrimination and bullying towards said students.Universidad Católica de Pereira.
