It concludes that this empowerment framework and emergency capacity is the opportunity to emerge, from the residents and the community environment, protection and prevention factors for the exploitation and sexual abuse of children.Se pretende mostrar cómo en el marco de un proceso tipo Investigación Acción Participativa, lo metodológico constituye un ejercicio que potencia aprendizajes para el grupo de líderes y residentes de la comunidad y para el equipo de investigadores de la Universidad. Se destaca la versatilidad práctica del enfoque y su potencia como vehículo de empoderamiento para el desarrollo local.
