The article also illustrates how religion has not been static and, on the contrary, has undergone transformations prornpted by new epochs and by novel emerging phenomenon that have compelled individuals to express and practice their religiosity in a more personal way. El presente artículo plantea como la religión a través de los tiempos ha sido un elemento forjador de la vida de la sociedad, la cultura y el pensamiento en todas las épocas y lu-gares, aportando y dando sentido a la vida de los hombres. Pero no ha sido un elemento estático, si no que ha sufrido diversas transformaciones provocadas por circunstancias particulares como lo son el cambio epocal y los diversos fenómenos emergentes que llevan a que el individuo asuma de una manera mas personal la forma como expresa y practica su religiosidad.
