El objetivo de este estudio fue principalmente describir e identificar los componentes, actividades, funciones o factores que caracterizan o están presentes en el rol del psicólogo deportivo. El diseño metodológico de esta investigación es cualitativo donde se aplicó desde un diseño descriptivo con la teoría fundamentada. Así mismo para la investigación se utilizó como instrumentos un grupofocal y una rejilla de observación contando con 5 participantes. Abstract: This article aims to identify the perceptions of the role of the sports psychologist in a competitive team in the city of Pereira ; in the category of registered amateur football team of the city Deportivo Pereira " Corpereira " . The aim of this study was primarily describe and identify the components, activities , functions or factors that characterize or are present in the role of the sports psychologist . The methodological design of this research is qualitative where it was applied from descriptive design with grounded theory. Likewise for research instruments it was used as a focus group and observation grid having 5 participants.Universidad Católica de Pereira.
