This research project seeks to recognize how Twitter becomes a tool for the exchange of ideas and political arguments, therefore political messages posted on the microblogging tool are analyzed in order to compare what is happening in digital social networks and traditional media such as television and the national news, while the structure, actors and the content that is produced, exchanged and received through a digital public space are analyzedEl objetivo del presente artículo es identificar y analizar la estructura y el contenido de la twitteresfera política colombiana durante las elecciones legislativas del año 2014 con el fin de conocer las características y diferencias de este territorio de intercambio virtual con el espacio público tradicional y, por lo tanto, ser capaz de determinar un solo espacio público político para el país sudamericano.
