Acceso dinámico al espectro: estado actual, tendencias y retosThis paper is about the development and progress of technologies that improve the use of electromagnetic spectrum, focusing on several useful techniques for dynamic spectrum access in future wireless networks. Some of the most important projects are mentioned; later the significant orientations that are used for the solution of emerging problems are briefly described. Other topics as the challenges currently faced by researchers in the field, and the trends on evolution of wireless networks to be able to meet the requirements that have been imposed are treating. The main objectives of this paper are motivating to the academic and scientific community for awakening an interest on the topic and, in this way start to work on it, besides achieve the interest of industry and the general sector in those topics.El presente artículo aborda una temática relacionada con los avances en el desarrollo de tecnologías para hacer un mejor uso del espectro electromagnético, especialmente las utilizadas para el acceso dinámico a este recurso en las redes inalámbricas futuras. Se mencionan algunos de los proyectos más importantes, se describen brevemente las orientaciones más sobresalientes para la solución de los problemas que han surgido, los retos que actualmente enfrentan los investigadores en el área, y la tendencia en la evolución de dichas redes para cumplir con los requerimientos que les han sido impuestos.
