Additionally, a graphical display of the type of documents reviewed, according to their origin country, questions or concerns frequently, and the type of research results is made.Este trabajo se apoya en la revisión de investigaciones y reflexiones teóricas realizadas en Iberoamérica, entre los años 2000 al 2014, acerca de la identidad profesional y narrativa del maestro. De esta exploración se deriva una síntesis de los trabajos más relevantes, organizados en torno a cuatro temáticas: relación entre identidad, narración y educación; aspectos, factores o procesos considerados en la configuración de la identidad narrativa y profesional del maestro; políticas públicas en educación y su relación con la identidad del maestro; y aspectos considerados relevantes del enfoque biográfico-narrativo desde lo metodológico.
