Para ello, además de su prólogo y epílogo, hace una incursión histórica por momentos significativos de esta relación: Agustín, Dionisio Areopagita, Tomás de Aquino y Borges. Luego dilucida los conceptos claves de la relación: Dioshombre-mundo-reverberación. Penetra después en los vericuetos de la metáfora como poesía de lo divino y termina dialogando con el iluminado de Éfeso, Heráclito: aquí hay dioses.
