Thus, there is an opportunity to develop a project focused on the development of training materials for the child population in rural schools of Risaralda's department.El semillero Cultura del Diseño, del grupo de investigación Diseño, Tecnología y Cultura, inició en 2009 la investigación “Cultura Material Cafetera”, liderada por la docente Yaffa Nahir Gómez Barrera. Allí se 2 estableció un estado del arte y posteriormente se continuó trabajando hasta el 2012, estableciendo una valoración de los objetos que hacen parte de la cultura cafetera.
