This document explores the relationship that exists between the water service in a community attended by a communal aqueduct and their life quality observed through some economy, administrative and finance concepts, in witch it is considered life quality level, the cost of receiving the service of potable water and the type of rationality witch prevails in the community and the promoters of Cestillal El Diamante Aqueduct.Existe una preocupación a nivel global enfocada en la preservación del medio ambiente y en particular del agua como garante de la supervivencia de la vida en la tierra. Para comprender cómo se asume una postura consecuente con la vida se busca en este proyecto conocer la materialización del compromiso con lo ambiental y la calidad de vida de los habitantes de una localidad con una organización comunitaria que administra el servicio de agua potable.
