The aim of this work is to do a reflectionabout the Colombian armed conflict and PTSD, andpropose a possible solutions in order to improvestate programs with the purpose to ameliorateemotional and psychological conditions of childrenand adolescents.El conflicto armado colombiano ha causado infinidad de sufrimiento en las personas que hacen parte de esta sociedad. Una de las poblaciones más vulnerables y afectadas son los niños, niñas y adolescentes, quienes, por su propia condición de desarrollo, tienen una afectación en mayor medida que los adultos. El Estado, en su esfuerzo para ayudar a la recuperación emocional de estas personas, ha ideado programas dirigidos a lograr este fin, los cuales no tienen en cuenta a la neuropsicología en su esfuerzo reparador.
