Bamboo and water as vital resources.El agua y la guadua como recursos fundamentalesNatural water and forest resources are one of the greatest assets that Colombia has, and they are considered vital and essential for human life and for optimal development, it is disturbing the apparent increase in pollution to these resources that generates questions about the future of people and future generations. However it is considered that the country has large water and properly managed forest sources could contribute to economic and social development of the country and thus help reduce the damage that entails environmental pollution. There must be a serious commitment of the entire population to the conservation of these resources because without them the planet and its inhabitants are in great danger.Los recursos naturales hídricos y forestales son una de las mayores riquezas que posee Colombia, y se consideran vitales para la vida del ser humano y para su óptimo desarrollo. Resulta preocupante el evidente aumento de la contaminación de estos recursos, lo que genera cuestionamientos sobre el futuro de la población y de las generaciones venideras. Sin embargo, se considera que el país cuenta con grandes fuentes hídricas y forestales que, correctamente manejadas, podrían contribuir al desarrollo económico y social del país, y por ende, contribuir a disminuir los daños ocasionados por la contaminación ambiental.
