It also takes us through the various international estates formed to advocate for children and fi nally it is concluded that it is necessary to increase awareness, union, and investment for the protection of minorsEste texto presenta un panorama general latinoamericano sobre el trabajo infantil y la imposibilidad de calcular estadísticas certeras sobre el fenómeno, por tratarse de un flagelo que además de ser más común de lo que se desea, es doméstico e impune. Se hace un recorrido por los diferentes estamentos internacionales conformados para defender a los niños.
