Con la pregunta principal, ¿ cuál es el aura de un lugar o espacio ?. Aquí comenzó la investigación inicial del trabajo de grado, donde se selecciona un lugar de interés llamado La Casbah, ya que tiene un valor significativo con respecto a su época de inicio y morfología tan marcada. En el cual cual se va comenzar analizar una gran mayoría de sus aspectos. sociales, culturales, arquitectónicos etc. cuando se tiene un entendimiento más claro y profundo de este lugar de intervención, se reconocen elementos predominantes e importantes los cuales se usan con el fin de comprender porque tienen tanto valor para la comunidad. Estos son usados para la investigación la cual da un giro muy drástico debido a que los elementos encontrados y seleccionados en argel norte de áfrica, se sobreponen en un lugar de latinoamérica, Cartagena de Indias Colombia, donde se hace el mismo análisis teniendo en cuenta estos elementos debido a que van a ser usados para generar una propuesta arquitectónica en una zona que padece de características similares encontradas en Argel ( Casbah ).Abstract: It all starts in Algiers, North Africa. With the main question, what is the aura of a place or space? Here began the initial investigation of the degree work, where a place of interest called La Casbah is selected, since it has a significant value with respect to its time of beginning and morphology so marked. In which it will begin to analyze a large majority of its aspects. social, cultural, architectural etc. When there is a clearer and deeper understanding of this place of intervention, predominant and important elements are recognized, which are used in order to understand why they have so much value for the community. These are used for the investigation, which takes a very drastic turn because the elements found and selected in Algiers, North Africa, overlap in a place in Latin America, Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, where the same analysis is made taking these into account. elements because they are going to be used to generate an architectural proposal in an area that suffers from similar characteristics found in Algiers (Casbah).Universidad Católica de Pereira.
